These Terms of Service govern your use of the information website of Frøhus Forest Resort & Casino. The website is operated by:

By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the operator named above.

1. What this website is

This is an information website about a resort project in development in Femundsmarka, inland Trøndelag, Norway. It describes plans, shows artist’s impressions and lets you join an interest list. The interest list is governed by the Terms and Conditions; personal data by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

2. No bookings, no sales, no gambling

You cannot make a booking, pay a deposit or acquire any goods or services through the website, and nothing on it is offered for payment. No gaming or gambling of any kind is offered through the website. The planned gaming lounge is subject to licensing and, if it is ever permitted, would operate only at the resort itself.

3. Who the website is for

The website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is written in British English for readers in Norway and the wider European Economic Area. The owner details are given in English throughout.

4. Acceptable use

You may read, link to and share pages of the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • use the website in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or related systems, or interfere with its operation, for example by introducing malicious code or placing an unreasonable load on it;
  • copy the website’s content in bulk, including by automated scraping, for use elsewhere;
  • present the website’s text or images as your own, or as showing a resort that is already operating;
  • use the Frøhus name or monogram in a way that suggests a connection with us that does not exist;
  • send unsolicited commercial messages to the addresses listed on the website.

If you use the website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

5. Intellectual property

The text, artist’s impressions, illustrated map, logo and monogram, design and code of the website belong to the operator or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and related laws. Apart from the personal use described above, you may not reproduce, adapt, publish or distribute them without our written permission. Requests can be sent to [email protected].

The typefaces Gloock and Rubik are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, a copy of which is included with the font files. Names of other resorts or companies mentioned editorially on the website belong to their respective owners; mentioning them implies no connection or endorsement.

6. Plans, figures and images

Information about the planned resort is given in good faith, but it describes a project in development. Plans, areas, capacities, images and dates may change without notice. All images are artist’s impressions, and all figures are project figures rather than commitments. Nothing on the website is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract.

The website links to a small number of other websites, such as Hjelpelinjen and Datatilsynet, because they are useful to readers. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean that we endorse a website beyond the reason the link is given.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time, for example as the project develops.

9. Disclaimer

The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties, express or implied, about its content, its availability or its fitness for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website, or from reliance on its content, including decisions about travel, events or investments. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Messages and suggestions you send us

Please do not send us confidential information. If you send suggestions or ideas about the project, you do so voluntarily, and we may use them without any obligation to you. We will never publish your name or your message without your permission.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the website free of malicious code, but we cannot guarantee it. You are responsible for protecting your own device and software when you use the internet, including this website.

13. Privacy

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. How we handle the personal data you send us is explained in the Privacy Policy.

14. Responsible gaming

The website offers no gambling, but Frøhus supports responsible gaming. If gambling stops being fun for you or someone close to you, free and confidential help is available from Hjelpelinjen on 800 800 40 or at hjelpelinjen.no.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you use the website as a consumer living in Norway or another EEA country, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring a claim before its courts.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect. If we do not enforce any part of these terms straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to do so later. These terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the use of the website.
