Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Frøhus interest list and to any news or correspondence you receive from us about the planned Frøhus Forest Resort & Casino. They are provided by:

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the provider named above. Use of the website itself is covered by the Terms of Service, and personal data by the Privacy Policy.

1. A project, not an operating resort

Frøhus Forest Resort & Casino is a resort in development. Nothing has been built, the resort is not open, and it does not accept guests. Descriptions of rooms, restaurants, the spa, the Seed House, the garden, the event spaces and the gaming lounge describe what is planned. Areas, capacities and other figures on the website are project figures and may change. The opening date is to be announced and is not guaranteed: the project may be delayed, changed or not completed.

2. The interest list is not a booking

Joining the interest list is not a booking, a deposit or a contract for accommodation or any other service. It creates no obligation for you, and no obligation for us other than to handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Being on the list does not guarantee availability, dates, terms or priority when the resort opens, although we intend to share news with the list first. No payment is requested or accepted in connection with the interest list, and anyone asking you to pay on our behalf is not acting for us.

3. Artist’s impressions

All images on the website are artist’s impressions. They show the intended character of the resort, not finished buildings. Layouts, areas, materials, finishes, views and landscaping may change during design and construction. Images of food, rooms and landscapes are illustrations and do not promise particular dishes, furnishings or conditions.

4. Nothing is sold

Nothing is offered or sold through the website or the interest list. In particular, no seed, seedlings, plants, vegetables or other produce from the Seed House or the garden will be sold or distributed to the public, now or after opening. Seed kept at Frøhus is intended for the resort’s own garden and kitchen. Mentions of dishes and ingredients describe the planned kitchen, not goods offered to you.

5. The garden and the Seed House

Once the resort is open, guests are planned to be able to visit the Seed House and, if they wish, help in the garden in small groups. Taking part will be voluntary. It is not a service, a course or an activity to which anyone is entitled, and it may be limited or unavailable because of the season, the weather, safety or the needs of the garden.

Seasons and harvests are not guaranteed. Anything the website says about what grows, ripens or is cooked in a given month describes intentions and typical conditions in inland Trøndelag, not a promise that particular produce will be available.

6. The gaming lounge is subject to licensing

The planned entertainment and gaming lounge is subject to licensing. Under current Norwegian law, land-based casinos are not licensed: casino games and gaming machines are offered only by Norsk Tipping under an exclusive right, and betting on horse racing only by the Norsk Rikstoto foundation. Any gaming at Frøhus will take place only if the law allows it and all necessary permits are granted, and it may never take place. Nothing on the website or in our messages is an offer of, or an invitation to take part in, gambling.

7. Age

The interest list is for adults aged 18 and over. By joining it you confirm that you are at least 18. If the gaming lounge opens, it will be open only to adults aged 18 and over, with identity checks at the entrance.

8. The forest and the outdoors

Descriptions of the forest, the lakes and the region are general. Guided walks are planned under Norway’s right of public access (allemannsretten). The website gives no advice on picking or eating wild plants, berries or mushrooms, and nothing on it should be read as such advice.

9. Liability

We take care to keep the information accurate, but because the project is in development it may be incomplete or may change. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of it, such as travel or event plans. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer living in Norway or another EEA country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country.

We would much rather resolve any complaint directly: please write to [email protected]. The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used. Consumers in Norway can ask Forbrukerrådet, the Norwegian Consumer Council, about out-of-court dispute resolution.

11. Changes to these terms
